About Your Vehicle
Unless you tell us otherwise we will assume that your car:
• Is not an import
• Has an MOT
• Is not Category C or D e.g. Has been written off by an insurance company or been involved in a serious accident
• Has 2 keys
• Is a runner
• Has no exterior or interior damage
• Has not been used as a taxi, for driving instruction, for rental or been raced on a track
Price and Payment
If we agree the price for your car we will pay the money into your account there and then via faster payments.
Condition
When making an offer for your car we assume that your car is in a condition in keeping with its age and mileage. Any damage added by you in your online evaluation should be above and beyond normal wear and tear.
Our inspection
We come and visit you at your home or place of work to inspect car. If the car is has further faults which were not disclosed, our offer may differ from the original one.
Over the phone valuations
The valuation we give you over the phone is based upon your description of your car and not a price we are willing to buy the car for.
We will always visit you to inspect the car before making a firm offer to buy the car.
If your description of your car differs from the one made online or over the phone then the price we offer you may differ from the one provided during our telephone valuation.
All valuations are subject to inspection.
Contract
Once you have accepted our offer a contract will only be deemed to have been made when you have signed our standard contract and will be subject to these terms and conditions.
If we make a contract we will expect you to give us:
All sets of keys
Service history
MOT certificates
V5 registration certificate in the name of the current owner.
Any of the cars accessories e.g. remote controls, locking wheel nuts etc.
If you can’t provide any of these we retain the right to withdraw our offer and the contract immediately.
Car finance
We may still decide to buy your car if it still has finance showing on it. We will require a letter and statement from the finance company stating the settlement figure (if there is outstanding finance on the car).
If the car’s value is less than the settlement figure of the finance we may still buy the car but we will only settle the finance if you have paid any monies owing to us first.
Law
This contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
